About Anna 

Anna Steers is an actor, director, educator and coach based in Los Angeles. She teaches theatre and acting at California State University Long Beach, Loyola Marymount University, Pierce College, Santa Ana College, and Goldenwest College.

In the summer of 2018, Anna founded Steers Studio: a camera acting gym. For the past 22 years Anna has trained extensively in the myriad approaches of acting techniques. Her career is dedicated to training actors in the craft and empowering actors in their process.

Her passion and expertise in theatre for social change led her abroad to lead projects in the UK, Cambodia, and locally in Los Angeles and San Francisco.  

Anna trained The Actors Center NYC, Lesly Kahn, SITI Company, John Ruskin School of Acting (Meisner) and Oxford University. Anna holds a BA in Performing Arts and Social Justice and an MFA in Acting/Directing.
